Dopamine Menu "DopaMenu"
Dopamine is a feel-good brain chemical related to taking action on tasks, focus and attention, working memory, and emotional control.
There are theories that the ADHD neurotype experiences low dopamine. This may lead to difficulties in all of these areas, and may lead to seeking out dopamine stimulation through feel-good activities that could be more harmful than helpful at times.
This menu provides ideas for adding healthy dopamine to your day or to your non-preferred tasks.
The concept of Dopamine Menus or “DopaMenus” was created and popularized by Eric Tivers (ADHD reWired) and Jessica McCabe (How to ADHD).
